History of Ponte Vedra Beach
Even as the beach communities to the north expanded, Ponte Vedra Beach remained sparsely populated through the late 19th century. In 1914, minerals were discovered, and a community known as Mineral City grew up around the mining operations. Local mining was discontinued after World War I, and the area began being developed as a resort community. Seeking a more impressive name, the city was renamed Ponte Vedra.
Killebrew and Company Realty Inc., specializes in selling real estate in Ponte Vedra Beach and the surrounding Jacksonville Beaches areas. Kirk was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, where he still resides today. With over 20 years of experience serving the real estate needs of the local area, Kirk and his team have helped thousands of local home buyers and sellers smoothly through all their real estate transitions.
“Kirk has represented me in six real estate purchases within the past ten years. His personalized service is what keeps me coming back to him.
A lot of buyers (especially first time) do not know that all real estate brokers will represent your property in the MLS, Zillow, etc. However, not all real estate brokers personally take your calls, show you prospective properties, make constructive recommendations when purchasing and selling, have extensive knowledge of local vendors that may be needed for home inspections, repairs, updates, and the list goes on, to see a transaction all the way through to closing.
Kirk is always available to answer questions and if he will be out of the area for family time, he will even let you know his schedule and when to expect answers and call backs. Every closing has been seamless.
Kirk is an expert in the Jacksonville market and the surrounding area. This type of service is practically non-existent in today’s market. Highly highly recommend, especially for new buyers who may be nervous about their first time purchase. Thanks again for a decade of great service..” ~B. Ros
